Here’s a little bit about me…

Originally from New Jersey, I moved to Florida my junior year in high school.  After earning my Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of South Florida (GO BULLS!), I returned home to the north!  I married my longtime boyfriend of 6 years and quickly started a family.  Twenty years later, we live in Boyds, Maryland with our three children.

I have been working with Montgomery County Public Schools in Maryland for seven years and I am getting ready to complete my M. Ed. Program at Marymount University in Virginia.  During my graduate work at Marymount, I completed my student teaching at Gibbs Elementary School teaching 3rd and 5th grade.  I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi, the national education honor society and I currently work at a Learning Center for autistic children.  I will graduate from Marymount in July of 2013, where I will then continue to pursue a teaching position for the 2013-14 school year!

In my free time you will catch me on the soccer field cheering on my children or trying to catch up on my sleep!
